There was a sense of achievement in the Salle des Fêtes on Tuesday 6th November as students were awarded certificates for Cambridge Young Learners' examinations. Hosted by Massillon’s Primary English coordinator, Catherine Rutherford, the ceremony celebrated the hard work of the children as proud parents and teachers looked on. The internationally recognized Cambridge diplomas assess the 4 language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. For many children, this was the first official exam they had ever taken. Following the ceremony, families were able to enjoy snacks and drinks with friends.
